DT! Poll! New font...
I need opinions!
Hey folks, another quickie poll job. I spent an enjoyable few hours last night working up a new hand-drawn font for my robot/A.I. characters. I usually just use my regular hand-drawn font in ALL CAPS, but I dunno… it just didn’t seem robot-y enough. So I worked this one up.
I’m pretty happy with it. The issue i’ve got is should the robots speak in a regular mix of upper/lower case or should they continue to SHOUT IN ALL CAPS. Comme ça…
So that’s the vote…

I went with all caps, even though I find it a bit harder to read, because all caps can also indicate shouting. The idea of robots shouting at humans all the time, either on purpose or accidentally, feeds that subconscious sense of a coming robot apocalypse and makes the robots even more off-putting.
A mix mainly for readability.
And leaves room for all caps emphasis when needed.
