i understand block chain, but never bothered to understand Bitcoin. If it helps in understanding, all technology is based off what came before so with bitcoin, there's most likely a foundation in some part of the past so if you find its origin it's origin is easier to understand than possibly the current definition. So you read the past and understand it you'll get a base understanding of what it is now.
