Hello everyone! Here, have another thinly veiled critique of A.I., mixed with some kaiju action. Also, it’s been a while since we checked in on Cynthia and Jeffrey.
Seeing that OpenAI Sora thing yesterday made me feel profoundly depressed (again) about our collective futures in the face of A.I. and everything it’s about to tear apart for the benefit of the few and detriment of the rest of us. I struggle to feel optimistic in the face of it, so I make stupid jokes instead because I recognise i’m basically powerless to stop anything. It’s like watching a driverless steamroller slowly crush you to death.
